Popular questions

The ones people ask first

How do I book my first lesson?
Pick a slot from the mentor’s published availability in your timezone. Under the booking policy, captured payment would be held until completion is confirmed, and an unconfirmed booking would qualify for a refund. Live card capture and automatic cash refunds are not connected, so no checkout funds are collected, held or refunded here today.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Under the cancellation policy, more than 24 hours ahead qualifies for a full refund; inside 24 hours, the charged amount becomes a 30-day make-up credit with the same mentor, not cash. A mentor cancellation qualifies for a full refund. Card capture and cash-refund delivery are not connected here today.
How do I get into the classroom?
Your booking shows the scheduled time and mentor details. Classroom live video and automatic replays are not connected yet, so there is no in-app call or 90-day replay to join or play today.
Can I message my mentor between lessons?
Yes — messaging is for the small question that does not need a whole session. Each mentor profile states how quickly that mentor typically replies, so you know what to expect before you write.
Who can see my portfolio?
Each item has its own visibility: private, visible to your mentors, or public. The default is mentors only. Making an item public is what makes it linkable when a panel or an application asks for a sample.
How are mentors verified?
Five checks must pass before a mentor can publish: identity, background check, education, banking and a teaching demo. Reviews can only be written by students who actually took the lesson.
